Storm Knocks Out Power to 10,000 in Bay Area

As of 12:30 p.m., PG&E representatives said that a total of 9,881 customers were without power, with the largest outage affecting 8,000 North Bay residents.

PG&E said Sunday that almost 10,000 Bay Area customers are currently without power, with the most customers being affected in the North Bay.

A PG&E representative said that most of the outages have been caused by branches and heavy winds knocking down power lines.

PG&E said it does not yet know when power will be restored.
