A Sunnyvale school rocked by scandal this week is being given the go-ahead to reopen.
Spark Charter School on Thursday was validated by the Santa Clara County Office of Education after it was closed in the middle of a sexual misconduct investigation.
A lunch monitor was arrested on suspicion of having child porn and molesting an 8-year-old student.
The school canceled classes this week while background checks that should have been done for its employees before classes started were completed.
