Sunnyvale Hit and Run Victim Identified

Police are following leads in the Jennifer Flores case, but have not made any arrests

    A woman who died Sunday night after being injured in a hit-and-run  collision in Sunnyvale has been identified by police as Jennifer Flores, 28,  of San Jose.
        The collision occurred at about 11:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of  Socorro Avenue, where Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety responders found  Flores lying in the roadway, suffering from massive internal injuries,  Sunnyvale public safety Capt. David Verbrugge said.

        Police said responders transported Flores to Valley Medical Center  in San Jose, where she succumbed to her injuries.     The vehicle involved was described by a witness as a light-colored  SUV, Verbrugge said.
        Investigators have not yet determined whether Flores was a  passenger in the car prior to being hit or if she was struck while walking,  Verbrugge said. 
        Police are following leads but have not made any arrests.
