A job fair to be held Wednesday will offer recruitment opportunities for security officers to work at Super Bowl 50.
Peninsula Security is hiring temporary security officers to work crowd control, tailgate safety, bag check security and parking assistance positions at a job fair to be held Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at America's Job Center of California (730 La Guardia Street, Salinas).
Those chosen will work at Levi's Stadium from approximately February 2-7 at a rate of $11-14 per hour. Candidates must bring a valid California Guard Card, valid California drivers’ license, and high school diploma or GED. There is a mandatory background check and drug screening test. The Super Bowl 50 Host Committee does not currently have any job opportunities posted to the website, but officials are still looking for more volunteers after a call to the community for 5,000 people to work pro bono was posted in June.
