Novato police on Wednesday released surveillance video from a Chevrolet car dealership identifying a possible suspect in an early-morning arson that damaged four Chevy Volts this week.
Capt. Jamie Knox said the young man who appears in the video obtained at a neighboring business on Redwood Boulevard with a flashlight walking in a back lot at Novato Chevrolet is considered suspicious and a suspect in the case.
The fire broke out about 11:30 p.m. Monday, and caused about $100,000 in damage. One or two cars were set on fire, and the flames spread to two other cars.
