Suspect in Custody After Shelter-In-Place at San Francisco State University

A suspect is in custody after a shelter-in-place at San Francisco State University Monday morning.

San Francisco State tweeted out around 10 a.m. that university police and SFPD were asking those on the campus to stay clear of the area of Tapia Drive due to police activity.

A shelter-in-place was created for the SF State Humanities and the Creative Arts Building. No weapons were involved. The school tweeted out at 10:11 a.m. that the situation had been resolved and a suspect was in custody.

Police said the area was clear.
