One person is in custody in connection with a homicide in Orinda this afternoon, a Contra Costa County sheriff's spokesman said.
The murder was reported at 12:20 p.m. in the 600 block of Moraga Way, sheriff's spokesman Jimmy Lee said.
One suspect has been taken into custody, and investigators remain at the scene this afternoon.
No further information was immediately available.
