The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office on Thursday evening investigated a suspected explosive device at a PG&E substation in Fulton.
Both on- and off-ramps for southbound Highway 101 at River Road were shut down during the investigation. Authorities hours later reported the suspicious device was "mitigated" and cleared the area.
No other information was immediately available.
