Suspects who stole some cars from a Fremont car dealership ended up causing a two accidents, including a three-vehicle collision early Monday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Sgt. Brian Samms said the suspects were being chased about 2 a.m., likely from a security guard from the unnamed dealership, when the first crash was reported on northbound Interstate Highway 880 at Decoto Road in Fremont.
The suspects then jumped into a Lexus, which then crashed by Tennyson Road, Samms said.
Two suspects ran away, and one suspect is in custody, he said.
