Teen Boy Stabbed, Suspect At-Large in Pacifica

A 14-year-old boy was in serious condition, and a suspect was still on the loose Tuesday evening after a stabbing at a shopping center in Pacifica, according to police.

At about 4:45 p.m., Pacifica officers responded to the Fairmont Shopping Center near the intersection of Hickey and Skyline boulevards on a reported assault with a deadly weapon and found the boy suffering from multiple stab wounds, police said.

Officers provided aid to the teen until paramedics arrived and rushed the boy to an area hospital, police said. He was listed in serious but stable condition.

Witnesses told police a teen boy among a group of similar age boys stabbed the victim with an unknown object. The group then fled on foot on Hickey Boulevard towards Daly City, police said.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone who may have seen the stabbing or has information about the suspect should contact the Pacifica Police Department at (650) 738-7314. Information may also be provided anonymously by calling the Silent Witness Tip Line at (650) 359-4444.
