Teen Slaying Suspect Posted Shoutout to Satan: Report

Boys will be charged as adults in classmate's stabbing death

A scary profile is emerging of two San Jose, California teenagers who are facing adult charges in the stabbing death of their classmate.

Sources identified Randy Thomson and Jae Williams, ages 15 and 16, as the boys accused of stabbing to death their classmate, Michael Russell (pictured), on Nov. 10 as he waited for his mother to return home from running errands.

All three boys attended Santa Teresa High School together, were friends and hung out together after school, other students say. The victim even appeared among the friends on Williams' MySpace page, the Mercury News uncovered. But, also on that profile were some disturbing posts, including a wish to meet, "Satan while on shrooms so I can him tell the one thing any stoners/satanist/uther awsome drug user... would say....wassup!!"

Thomson's login is "Randyt666," according to the paper.

One of Williams' friends says the character depicted on the MySpace page is a totally different person than the boy she knows.

"I never heard him say anything about Satan." The girl told the paper. "He was a happy person."

Whether they did it or not is up to the law to decide. But the question about the boys' MySpace pages suggest that we shouldn't just dismiss Internet personalities and postings as just kids being kids.
