3 Teens Shot at San Jose Community Center on Halloween Night

Police in San Jose say three teenagers were shot and injured Halloween night at a community center.

The Mercury News reports Thursday the three teens each suffered at least one gunshot wound and were taken to a hospital with injuries those were not life-threatening.

San Jose Sgt. Enrique Garcia says the shooting was reported Wednesday night at the Seven Trees Community Center. He says an unknown suspect approached the teens, "words were exchanged" and then shots were fired at the victims.

San Jose police did not specify if there was an event taking place at the community center, or if the teens were outside the facility.

Police have not identified any suspects in the shooting.
