Tesla will start taking reservations for its new Model 3 in nine days. All you need is $1,000.
Reservations for Model 3 begin on March 31 worldwide, 8:30 p.m. PT. That’s the same day the automaker will unveil the vehicle.
Tesla says drivers who visit one of its stores during that day will be able to get in line ahead of those who place an order later that night.
The most basic version of the model 3 is expected to start at around $35,000.
