The Demon Sheep is Baaaaaa-ck

Democrats attack Carly Fiorina with Demon Sheep parody

As the statewide primary ticks closer, and absentee voters will soon be mailing in the first completed ballots, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee has released the latest online attack advertisement targeting former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina.

Fiorina, who's campaigning for the Repbublican nomination to challenge sitting Senator Barbara Boxer, made waves with her own attack on primary opponent, former Congressman Tom Campbell, with a psychedelic ad popularly referred to as the "Demon Sheep" ad.

So the DSCC released their own parody, "Demon Sheep II: The Fleecing of California," featuring a new evil sheep, this time wearing pearls.

The ad doesn't just attack Fiorina, but Campbell and Assemblyman Chuck DeVore, who "stars" in "Extreme Sheep III: The Tea Party is Over" as a sheep wearing a tri-corner hat.

Of course, the clip hasn't yet "gone viral," with a mere 385 views logged on YouTube so far, so it remains to be seen if it will prove effective in a race that many pundits believe Boxer may be vulnerable in.

Jackson West loves California politics because it's so much cheaper than going to theaters.
