Thief Drives Off In Local Celebrity's Lamborghini

Thief takes off with prized sports car.

This isn't a movie script, this is real life.

A thief rappelled from a rooftop into a San Francisco car dealership on Van Ness. Said thief cracked the lock on the garage door between 3:40 a.m. and 5:15 a.m. and then drove off with a Lamborghini Gallardo. It belonged to NBC's "Minute To Win It" host and celebrity chef Guy Fieri. Fieri's public relations firm confirmed the car was his Wednesday midday.

"It's a very distinctive car, for sure," police Officer Albie Esparza told Bay City News. "I don't  know how far this person is going to go."

Fieri lives in Marin and apparently stored his prized position in the City.

We're told the Lamborghini is worth more than $200,000.

San Francisco investigators said they are reviewing the dealership's  surveillance video for clues in the case.
