Police arrested three suspects Friday night in connection with a drunken gang-related fight at a Napa In-N-Out restaurant.

Police arrested three suspects Friday night in connection with a drunken gang-related fight at a Napa In-N-Out restaurant.

Officers responded to a report of a gang fight at the In-N-Out located in the South Napa Market Shopping Place Shopping Center at 820 West Imola Ave., police said.

Arriving officers spotted three males matching the reported suspect descriptions leaving the restaurant.

Police said the three suspects quickly separated and one suspect, 21-year-old Luis Montanez, started running.

An officer chased the suspect on foot and apprehended him.

Another officer stopped a car that one of the other suspects had gotten into.

That suspect, 22-year-old George Escalona, was evaluated and determined to have been driving under the influence of alcohol and driving on a suspended license, police said.

Officers located the third suspect, a 17-year-old boy, near a McDonalds restaurant. That suspect was also intoxicated and found to be in possession of an illegal switchblade knife, police said.

Officers learned that Montanez had drunkenly challenged people to fight while referring to his gang affiliation, police said.

Montanez and Escalona were arrested and taken to Napa County Detention Center, and the juvenile was arrested and booked at Juvenile Hall.
