Timeline: Disappearance of Shelly Titchener

Feb. 13, 2016: Shelly Titchener, 57, of Brisbane tells family she's going to a friend's for a couple days, her husband says. Her mental state may be in question, according to a post on Facebook.

Feb. 15: Shelly Titchener is seen at Nordstrom's at Hillsdale Shopping Center in San Mateo between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. Earlier that day, she had spoken to a neighbor at her Brisbane home. She was reported missing on Feb. 15 when she never returned from the trip to her friend's, and she left her cell phone and laptop at home, according to Facebook.

Feb. 20: Shelly Teitchener's husband, Paul Titchener, says on Facebook he is hoping people find his wife.

Feb. 21: A torso is found by fishermen near Dumbarton Bridge in Fremont. The Alameda County Coroner, however, did not make a positive identification, though Fremont police said they are "fairly confident" it belongs to Shelly Titchener.

Feb. 23: Paul Titchener jumps off the Bay Bridge, killing himself.

Feb. 24: The couple's son announced both his parents "had passed."

Feb. 25: Brisbane police announce they they are the lead agency, and that they have served several serach warrants at Paul Tichener's home, car and business.
