Three people who admitted to abusing a teen in Tracy have received long prison sentences Monday.
The teen's guardian, Caren Ramirez, got 34 years.
Kelly Lau received 33 years, while her husband, Michael Schumacher, got 30 years.
Prosecutors said the teen was beaten, burned and starved at the Tracy home of Schumacher and Lau.
The victim, who is now 18, chose not to speak during the sentencing hearing in Stockton.
The victim was discovered after he escaped from the home.
