A Sig Alert was issued for Highway 4 in Contra Costa County early Monday after multiple westbound lanes were blocked due to a vehicle collision, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At least two vehicles were involved and one person has been transported to a hospital with minor injuries after the collision that was reported around 5:02 a.m. Lanes have since reopened.
