A Larkspur woman was in for an unpleasant surprise late Monday morning when a redwood tree came smashing down on her two-story home.
The fall didn't result in any injuries, but left the second floor of the home in disrepare. The woman was home -- on the first floor -- at the time of the incident, which left 69 PG&E customers without power.
A tree-cutting service was brought in the remove the tree, which was blocking the road the house sits on.
