A dump truck crashed into the San Bruno Senior Center on Monday afternoon, San Mateo County officials said.

County officials issued an alert at 3:40 p.m. about the crash into the building at 1555 Crystal Springs Road. Fire crews and police responded to the scene where the truck was seen lodged into a corner of the building.

No injuries were reported in the crash, which prompted the closure of Crystal Springs Road at Cunningham Way.

The driver reportedly had been arrested on DUI suspicion, and the California Highway Patrol was at the scene to investigate whether the driver had the correct license to operate a dump truck.

Residents were advised to avoid the area while the crash was investigated.
