A driver behind the wheel of a pickup truck crashed into a house in Antioch late Sunday after reportedly being chased by authorities.
The driver suffered major injuries in the crash, which happened along the 4800 block of Golden Bear Drive, according to police. No one inside the house was hurt.
According to police, they started chasing the truck after it was reported stolen. The driver eventually lost control and slammed into the house where Vincent Tran was sleeping.
"I heard a sound, just a boom," he said. "I thought somebody [was] shooting."
