Firefighters Knock Down Two-Alarm Blaze in Downtown San Jose, One Injured

A two-alarm residential fire that burned near downtown San Jose Tuesday morning has been knocked down, fire officials said.

Flames ignited just before 9:30 a.m. near 7th and Julian Streets, according to fire officials.

Crews were able to contain the fire in roughly 45 minutes, but one person was reported injured, officials said.
