Residents From 30 Apartment Units Displaced in San Francisco Fire

A three-alarm fire at a San Francisco high-rise apartment building Monday evening caused no injuries but damaged multiple units before it was contained, according to fire officials.

Tenants from 30 units were still waiting late Monday night to get back inside their homes as fire crews remained at the scene to monitor hot spots and investigate the cause.

The fire burned on floors 12 through 15 at 405 Davis Court, near Jackson Square, fire officials said. Multiple rescues were made, they said.

No injuries were reported, and fire crews asked the public to avoid the area. The blaze was under investigation.

No further details were available.
