Two Men At-Large in the South Bay

Two women were awakened overnight to find thieves breaking into their car

A pair of men remain at-large in the South Bay after an alleged home invasion in San Jose early Friday morning.

San Jose Police responded to a report of a home invasion at approximately 1:51 a.m. Two women were home when they heard someone breaking into their car. After the women yelled at the man to stop,  he chased them back into the house and punched one of them in the face.

At that point, both women fled the house while the suspect and another man gave chase. One of the women was assaults, but both were able to get to a neighbor's house.

The men returned to the women's house and stole multiple item before leaving on foot.

One of the victims was transported to a local hospital via ambulance and treated for minor injuries.
