Two Treated for Smoke Inhalation After One-Alarm Fire at Oakland Building

Firefighters on Thursday battled a one-alarm fire that broke out at an apartment building in Oakland, officials said.

According to an Oakland Fire Department dispatcher, the fire was reported at 5:09 a.m. at 71 Pearl Street. Firefighters rescued someone from a second-story window.

Two people were injured and taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation. 

No further details were immediately available.
