An unattended bag was found on the curbside in front of San Francisco International Airport's international terminal, officials said Tuesday.
Airport spokesman Doug Yakel said the bag's discovery at 11:30 a.m. prompted the closure of six ticket counters. The upper-level roadway for the international terminal was also shut down at 12:30 p.m., he said.
San Francisco police offciers were on-scene investigating the bag, but all closures were lifted before 1:30 p.m., according to officials.
The BART station at SFO was temporarily closed due to police activity, officials said.
