Several streets were blocked off and residents were told to avoid the area of 41st Avenue and Balboa Street in San Francisco's Outer Richmond Tuesday afternoon after a truck drove into a building, police said.

The truck was only occupied by the driver, who suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to police. A strong odor of natural gas was detected following the crash.

PG&E crews responded to the scene and capped the gas leak.

No other information was immediately available.
