Vallejo Family Shot in Home Invasion

It must have been a terrifying night for one family in Vallejo where relatives were shot in a home invasion.

A brother, mother and sister were shot after at least two armed men in hooded sweatshirts broke into the home on McDougal Street at about 3:30 a.m. Thursday.

The family told police they woke up and heard people forcing their way through the door. 

The sister in her 20s saw the men who shot her in the hand.  The brother in his 20s was shot in the face and the mom was shot in the hip. They are hospitalized this morning. All are expected to live.

A family cousin, La Nguyen, came to the home after he saw news reports. He told NBC Bay Area News he doesn't know why anyone who target the home.
