Voter Registration Deadline Is Today

If you don't vote, you don't count. So make sure you count, by the end of today.

 

Monday is the deadline to register to vote in next month's presidential election.

 

And there's much more to chew on in the Nov. 6 ballot than merely who will run the country. There's state and local races, too!

 

Anyone with a signature on file with the Department of Motor Vehicles can register online at www.registertovote.ca.gov, the newspaper reported.

 

As of the weekend, about 544,000 new Californians had registered to vote using the online service, according to the office of State Sen. Leland Yee, who authored the online registration legislation.
