Wet Weather Leaves its Mark Overnight

Wet weather hit the Bay Area hard over night and it left its footprint on early morning commuters.

A power outage in the East Bay and a BART station closure in Oakland were blammed on overnight wetness.

BART was forced to shut down its 12th Stree/City Center station in downtown Oakland late Sunday evening because of a power outage that also put about 15,000 PG&E customers in the dark in the East Bay.

Wet weather was expected early Monday morning with the rain clouds giving way to less neferious clouds later in the day. Monday evening is expected to mostly clear and Tuesday is forecast to be mostly sunny, with a high of 64 degrees.
