Investigators suspect someone with a BB gun shot at San Jose Fire Station 35.

A pair of garage windows at a San Jose fire station were apparently shot at on Thursday by someone with a BB gun, officials said.

Investigators are calling the incident a random act of vandalism and do not believe it was a targeted attack on firefighters.

The shooting happened between 3 and 6 a.m. at Fire Station 35, located on Poughkeepsie Road in south San Jose.
