As promised, Bay Area police are cracking down on human trafficking.
A 20-year-old woman who allegedly used a teenage girl to advertise sex for money was arrested at a Milpitas motel during an undercover operation on Wednesday, just a few miles from Levi’s Stadium, according to a Santa Clara County sheriff's spokesman.
Tekera "Taco" Symone Scott, a Sacramento resident, was arrested on suspicion of human trafficking of a minor and pandering, sheriff's Sgt. James Jensen said.
Detectives from the county's human trafficking task force went undercover as part of Super Bowl human trafficking operations, Jensen said.
Jensen said officers responded to an ad for escort services. Scott planned to force a 17-year-old girl to have sex with one of the officers who responded to her ad, authorities said.
The county's Department of Family and Children's Services was contacted once detectives determined the teen was a juvenile being sexually exploited for commercial purposes, according to Jensen.
The oldest of the three females was Scott, who was taken into custody, Jensen said. Detectives found a loaded firearm when they searched the motel room, he said.

Scott was booked into Santa Clara County Jail, where she is being held on $550,000 bail, according to jail records.
