Woman Arrested for Pimping Developmentally Disabled Girl

The 19-year-old girl had been reported missing from the Sacramento area.

A 21-year-old woman was arrested this week on pimping charges after she allegedly waylaid a developmentally disabled girl and coerced her into performing sex acts for money, according to Santa Rosa police.

The victim, a 19-year-old developmentally disabled girl who had been reported missing from the Sacramento area, was first discovered by police on Monday, when she called for help from a McDonalds on Santa Rosa Avenue, police said.

The girl told police she had been on her way to visit friends when she met a woman who befriended her and took her by bus to the Bay Area.

The woman, later identified as Asia Noel, 21, coerced the victim into performing sex acts with men in San Francisco and Santa Rosa, according to police.

Investigators later learned that she was setting up motel rooms and clients and using the internet to advertise the girl's services, then collecting the money.

The girl was eventually able to escape from a hotel on Cleveland Avenue in Santa Rosa and call for help.

Noel was arrested and charged with pimping.
