Woman Pepper-Sprayed, Hit With Brass Knuckles In San Francisco Bayview Street Fight

A woman was pepper-sprayed and hit with brass knuckles in a fight that started between acquaintances in cars before moving to the street in San Francisco's Bayview neighborhood earlier this week.

The fight was reported around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday near Gilman Avenue and Jennings Street.

According to police, the victim was driving in the area when a gold-colored Chevy pulled up beside her. The driver was an acquaintance of the victim. The Chevy driver pulled out pepper spray and sprayed the victim through an open window.

The drivers, both women, got out of their cars and started fighting in the middle of the street.

The suspect was wearing brass knuckles and beat up the other woman in the fight, police said.

Some passersby broke up the fight and the suspect drove away in her car.

The victim gave a description of the suspect to police, but officers were unable to track down the woman.
