Woman Robbed at Gunpoint on South San Jose Suburban Street

San Jose police are searching for a suspect who pulled a gun on a woman on Friday and robbed her in a suburban neighborhood in the Almaden area of South San Jose, police said.

At about 11:57 a.m. Friday in the 700 block of Delaware Avenue, about two blocks south of Blossom Hill Road, a male suspect brandished a gun and stole personal property from the victim, police Officer Albert Morales said.

The man then fled the scene. The victim was not injured, police said.

Police were called to the area and began searching for the unidentified suspect, who was not immediately found, Morales said.
