Officers in Sunnyvale are looking for armed suspects who attacked a man and a woman early Tuesday outside the Caltrain station on Evelyn Avenue. Bob Redell reports. (Published Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012)

Sunnyvale public safety officers are looking for two men who used a gun to terrorize people along Evelyn Avenue just after midnight on Tuesday.

In the first incident, officers say the men robbed a woman at gunpoint as she was waiting for a cab outside the Caltrain station about 12:15 a.m. One of the men drew a gun and stole her purse.

While police were looking for those suspect, officers say a man was attacked nearby on Evelyn Avenue at Murphy. In that case, the men showed a gun, pushed him into the bushes and demanded his money, though they took off before getting his cash.

Officers brought in the K-9 unit, but the suspects are still at large.
