Woman Says She Was Raped at Gunpoint in People's Park

University of California at Berkeley police are looking for a man in his early 30s who allegedly raped a woman he knew at gunpoint on Sunday in People’s Park.

The woman did not go to Cal, police added, but the alleged crime occurred near campus between 10 p.m. and midnight.
She told police she was in the park when the man “forcefully” took her from the park to another spot and pointed a gun at her, according to the UCPD crime alert. He then sexually assaulted her, she told police. She also said she knew the man from “prior contacts.” She reported the offense to UCPD on Monday.

The man was described as a Filipino male, in his early 30’s, standing approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a  medium build,  short black hair and dark  eyes.
