Husband Surprises Wife With Hundreds of Roses for Last Chemo Treatment

Grab a tissue.

You're going to need it.

A Nebraska husband marked his wife's final chemotherapy treatment with more than 500 roses.

The video, viewed nearly 400,000 times, shows Alissa Bousquet sitting with her scarf fixed atop her head as bundles of roses just keep coming, and keep coming.

Her husband Brad decided to get friends together to make his wife's last chemo treatment a truly momentous occasion. He spoke to a local florist and asked if they could raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation while giving his wife a memorable last treatment.

"I spoke to our florist in Oakland and said 'Why don't we just raise money for breast cancer research at the same time and have everybody purchase a rose for $10 apiece with anything left over going straight to the Susan G Komen Foundation,'" Brad said to NBC affiliate WOWT.

Brad's idea raised $4,700 for the foundation, which they said was an invaluable resource for the family when they received her heartbreaking diagnosis.
