Social Network Game Maker Pays Hundred's Of Millions For Its' Headquarters

Most of us know living in San Francisco can be pricey, but what if you wanted to buy your own building? How much would it cost?

According to the Mercury News, social network game maker Zynga is reportedly paying $228 million for its corporate headquarters in the South of Market District. The gaming company is expected to complete its' purchase of the 670-thousand square foot building sometime next month.

Currently, Zynga occupies about 65% of the building, sharing space with other tenants.   Eventually the building will house all of its' 2,800 employees.

Known for its' 'Farmville' line of games, Zynga can afford to reach deep into its' pockets for the property.  Last December, it had its' initial public offering, which raised a billion-dollars.  Stocks have since steadily risen nearly 40%.
