Levi's Stadium Bathroom Assault Suspect Gets 5 Years in Prison

One of two brothers accused of attacking two people in a bathroom during a San Francisco 49ers game at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara last year was sentenced to five year in prison on Monday.

Prosecutors say Amador Rebollero, the “main aggressor” in the Oct. 5 attack that left two men hospitalized, must serve at least 85 percent of his sentence before he’ll become for parole.

A jury trial for Amador's brother, Dario, is set for Aug. 31.

A stadium employee alerted police of a fight over a urinal in a men's bathroom during the Niners’ 2014 game against Kansas City. Officers were able to detain the brothers, who had attempted to flee the scene, police said.

Both victims were initially hospitalized and one was released a short time afterward, authorities said. The other victim was knocked unconscious and left with a serious brain injury.
