Andrew Nisbet, Livermore Golf Pro Accused of Molestation, Pleads Not Guilty

The Livermore golf pro accused of molesting three of his young students pleaded not guilty in court Thursday.

Andrew Nisbet faces 75 charges for reportedly abusing three boys he had been teaching. All three boys are under 17.

Nisbet was a popular golf coach, who worked with kids at several courses. He was arrested in December at the Las Positas Golf Course in Livermore.
   
The victims say the abuse began in 2009.

Prosecutors allege Nisbet used his persona as the "cool coach" to gain trust with his victims, some of whom were as young as 14, according to the San Jose Mercury News.

He was arrested at the golf course at 10 a.m. on Dec. 7,  one day before he was to be honored as the 2013 Northern California PGA Junior Golf Leader.
