While Apple briefly touched on the next update to its iOS platform, the update they talked about was pretty minor. What about iOS 5, the next major update for iPhones and iPads? It might be unveiled as soon as next month.
According to rumors, Apple is set to unveil both the new OS and new MobileMe features in early April. It makes sense, as Apple showed off iOS 4 last April 8th. At the top of most people's wishlists for new features is a totally revamped notifications system that won't make you stop whatever you're doing when you get a text message or other notification. Here's hoping Apple pulls through with that one.
