The iPad has been a cash cow for Apple, could it do the same for Target?
The discount chain store will begin selling the tablet computer on Oct. 3. That's good news for fanboys who have been unable to get their names off of Apple's long wait list and an iPad into their hands.
Target will carry four iPad models, starting at $499. It will become the largest retailer to sell the popular device. Card carrying Target fangirls will be rewarded with a five percent discount on the tablet.
But will Target be carrying a new version of the iPad? That is the question most people seemed to be interested in.
Reports are surfacing that Apple may unveil a new iPad just in time for the holiday season.
