Armed Robbery Turns into High-Speed Chase in San Francisco

San Francisco police had their hands full late Saturday afternoon after an armed robbery turned into a high-speed chase.

Officers got a call around 4 p.m. about a robbery near 25th Avenue and Judah Street. By the time police arrived on scenes, the robbers had gotten away.

An hour later, officers spotted three men matching the suspects’ descriptions in a car near Market Street and Jones Street.

Officers tried to stop the car, and the chase began.

The suspects caused two rollover crashes before finally coming to a halt in the Potrero Hill neighborhood.

"The suspect vehicle crashed into a parked vehicle," San Francisco Police Officer Albie Esparza said. "All three suspects jumped out. Officers initiated a foot pursuit. All three suspects were apprehended. My understanding is that weapons were apprehended as well."

The suspects were treated for minor injuries and arrested. The only other people injured were the two victims of the rollover crashes.
