UPDATE: Cops Identify Woman Killed

San Jose police say they have arrested the woman responsible for the city's 39th homicide of 2011 -- one which allegedly employed a machete.

Sagal Sadiq was found outside a home on Johnston Avenue near Byerley Street in Willow Glen Friday night. She was reportedly covered in blood.

Sadiq apparently called police saying a man had attacked her and killed another woman in the house. Investigators' suspicions turned to Sadiq when they found a bloody machete in the back yard.

Another woman was harmed in the attack, but survived. She was treated and released at a nearby hospital.

Police say the murder may have been the result of a domestic dispute, but have yet to say what Sadiq's relationship was to the murdered woman. Neighbords believe the victim wsa the mother of Sadiq's girlfriend.

Sadiq was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of homicide.
