At Least 1 Hurt After Vehicle Crashes Into San Francisco Home

A motorist who crashed a vehicle into a home in San Francisco early this morning fled the scene, according to police.

San Francisco Police Officer Robert Rueca said they received a call just before 2:15 p.m. this morning of a vehicle into a residence in the 2800 block of 37th Avenue. A passenger in the vehicle was taken to the hospital for injuries not considered life threatening.

Rueca didn't confirm if anyone in the home was injured, but said the structure had received significant damage from the collision and police are waiting on building inspectors before removing the vehicle.

An investigation into the hit-and-run collision and a search for the driver is ongoing, Rueca said.
