A Daly City man who works as a custodian has become $60,000 richer
thanks to the California State Lottery, lottery officials announced.
James Baxter reportedly said he was "feeling great" as he stepped
up to the Fantasy 5 Dream Machine before landing three balls that won him the
$60,000.
His mother encouraged him to stop after the third ball landed, and
he reportedly said he "had to listen to his mom" and stop, according to
lottery officials.
Baxter plans to send his mother on a long-awaited trip with his
winnings, lottery officials said.
