Oakland Firefighters Rescue Puppies From Burning Building

Three puppies are alive after firefighters rescued them from a burning building Saturday in Oakland, officials said.

Fire crews responded to a pet shop at 10814 Bancroft Avenue after calls came in reporting smoke coming from a pet shop.

The fire was put out quickly and when fire crews enter the shop they saw three puppies needing medical attention. Firefighter gave the small dogs oxygen and were able to revive them.

Officials say the cause of the fire is under investigation.
