This Drug Enforcement Administration is making sure you have a safe way to get rid of your expired, unused or unwanted prescriptions pills or patches.

Scores of locations across the country are participating in the DEA's National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. Each site will be open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The services are free.

The program seeks to prevent prescription-pill abuse and theft and keep dangerous medications out of community water supplies.
